Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 Contemporary Lens, Teleconverter, Dock for Canon/Sony E Mount

  Heavy but Worth It! By PNeher on April 23, 2017 Review submitted for Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM Zoom Lens (Contemporary), for Canon DSLR Cameras (SG150600CEOS) Pros: Relatively fast, tiny bit soft on focus but for the money very clear. When on tripod it focuses quickly and accurately (using Canon 80D). Great for wildlife video! Servo focus is great. Cons: A tad heavy, compared to some other long fl Sigmas. But, I mostly shoot on tripod, so only when I hand-hold it does it seems heavy. Use fast shutter speed it's ok. Image Stabilization is useful in low fl settings, but at 500-600 I find it distracting and don't use it. Other Comments: I received a copy that would not hold focus above 350mm fl. Sent it back to Beach and they immediately replaced it with a great working copy. Sigma was also very helpful, as I spoke to a head tech person directly on the phone.   Affordable 150-600 Zoom Lens with great performance July 21, 2016 Review submitted for Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM Zoom Lens (Contemporary) for Nikon DSLR Cameras (SG150600CNF) Pros: Great lens - Low weight - Easy to use - Fantastic price - Quiet and quick autofocus - The optic stabilizer does a great job Cons: None Other Comments: This is a perfect lens for the amateur photographer that want something beyond the regular 300 mm zoom lenses.
