2 out of 5 stars   50x zoom takes the fun out of fotography

Review submitted for Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX200V 18.2 MP Exmor R CMOS Camera with 30x Optical Bundle (E1SNDSCHX200V)
Pros: Clear pictures
Cons: No Reason To Get Close, Loose lens cap, bulky, Zoom Too Powerful
Other Comments: You can sit in your car with this camera and take clear head shots of antelope on the other side of a meadow, or stand at the bottom of a mountain and photograph the top. It's too much camera for me in that way. Where's the challenge? If the lighting is bad, a computer makes it right.

Review submitted for Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX200V 18.2 MP Exmor R CMOS Camera with 30x Optical Bundle (E1SNDSCHX200V)
Pros: Easy To Use In Easy Mode
Cons: Blurred Movement Shots, slow shutter response, Burst Shots With Flash
Other Comments: Haven't had a chance to realy work with it so my experience so far has been limited. Doesn't appear to allow flash when using the multi-shot burst mode. There seems to be a significant delay in the shutter response after the button is pressed resulting in missed shots or movement of the subject. Subject movement is often blurred. Trying to catch shots of active children is challenging.
