Pros: Fast focus
Smooth zoom
Zoom lock a huge plus
Cons: Not sure yet, I'm still new using this lens.
Other Comments: Pretty quiet focus, I'm still in training with the VC I, II, & III modes to understand and optimize captures. Great value, though it is more expensive than the 1st generation, the zoom lock and quick focus is well worth it and compared to other comparable lens you cannot beat it!
