Pros: A great value-package for the components I was looking for (70-300mm lens). Plus, got a couple of extras I was considering like the slave flash which I wasn't sure I needed. The tripod is quality with a level and secure positioning controls. I considered the D5500, but didn't see the need for a touch screen.
Cons: Not really negative, but if you don't have a case or accessory bag, you'll need something to organize all the stuff for quick access.
Other Comments: I'm not a camera buff, and have only used Beach Camera a couple of times over the years. It has been a positive experience which is why I selected them after checking the "grey" product deals on Amazon.. And no tax or shipping is very attractive.
