Verified Purchase Review submitted for LG 55LW5600 - 55 Inch 1080P 120 Hz LED LCD TV Plus 3D Bundle (E6LG55LW5600) Pros: Reduced Glare, Easy To Set Up, Best looking TV out there, LED-backlit, Energy Efficient, Great Picture Quality, Good Remote Control, All the connections options I could ever need Cons: Other Comments: I wanted to be ready for whatever transpires with 3D. The 2D, however is excellent. I found recommended settings for cinema and expert on the internet, and quickly dialed in a great picture. What I didn't expect, was the great performance from the 2D to 3D conversation. You end up with added depth, and good picture quality. The passive glasses are so light that they quickly fade from consciousness, and I only experienced slight blurring @ the edges. The apps are very diverse, and add a great deal to program content. One of the apps contains true 3D content, which at times borders on amazing. There are certainly times that 3D has a gimmicky feel, but in some settings,ie underwater scenes, it feels like you need a towel after watching! I believe there will be a lot more programming in the near future, and I gotta believe the passive ( or eventually, 3D without glasses) are the way to go. Another great feature is the "magic motion" remote, that is a breeze to operate, much like a Wii remote control. I was initially apprehensive to buy such an expensive item over the internet, but couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience. [...], LG customer support has been amazing,[...]. I got a nice bundle, including 4 HDMI 3D cables , an excellent LG 3D Blu ray player, and screen cleaner for the price of a TV alone from the local "superstore" All in all, couldn't be more happy Yes, I recommend this product Was this review helpful?     |     Report this review

A great feature of this set is that there is very little reflection off the screen. This was a concern due to large windows/doors off to the side of the set.
