5 out of 5 stars   Sigma 24-70 Canon Mount

Review submitted for Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 IF EX DG HSM Lens for Canon EOS Lens Kit Bundle (E6SG2470IFEOS)
Pros: The Sigma 24-70 is an amazing lens and a great alternative for those who can't afford Canon's L version. Has a nice weight to it that comes in handy when shooting handheld. The build quality is solid.
Cons: None so far!

Review submitted for Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 IF EX DG HSM Lens for Canon EOS Lens Kit Bundle (E6SG2470IFEOS)
Pros: Tack sharp, super fast focus
Cons:
Other Comments: This is now my go-to lens. Stays on my Canon unless I need a long shot. I had a $2000.00 Canon lens, which was comparable to the Sigma in Focal length, but the Sigma has blown it away. Awsome lens!

Review submitted for Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 IF EX DG HSM Lens for Canon EOS Lens Kit Bundle (E6SG2470IFEOS)
Pros: Quality
Cons:
Other Comments: After having this lens for a month I'm very happy with it. I have an Canon T1i with the following lenses; Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS All of those lenses have their purpose and have given me some good shots. Of course my 18-55 kit lens was just so so overall and therefore it was used the least out of my lenses. With this new Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 IF EX DG HSM lens I'm getting images at various zoom ranges as sharp as my fixed 40mm. Focus speed is on par with the Canon EF-S 18-135mm lens I have. The Sigma may be a little faster. For me very acceptable. I had close to $1K to spend on an upgrade. I was debating on going with a newer body (T4i) with the newer 18-135mm STM lens combo for about $800. For roughly that same money I decided instead to get a good lens. After seeing the shots my T1i is capable of doing with this lens I'm very happy and I'm now a believer that money is better spent on the lenses than the body!
