Pros: This is the second car cane I have bought. I paid 3 times as much for the first one, but I have been so pleased with it that I didn't hesitate a moment when I saw the price for this identical one. I was constantly moving the one I had between my car and my wife's car so realized I had to have one for each car. I am 80 years old, have scoliosis and arthritis, and I can't easily get out of the car in close parking spaces where I can't open my car door to its fullest. The car cane saves me time, trouble, and pain in those situations. Its other features (seat belt cutter, window smasher, and flashlight) also serve to relieve my fears about dangerous situations. I was once in a wreck and couldn't get my seat belt open -- at that time I would have given any amount of money for a belt cutter. I'm very happy with the car cane!
Cons: The shape makes it hard to fit in one of the handy crannies in either car, and I don't like to keep it in the glove compartment -- it would take too long to get it in an emergency and I couldn't reach it to cut my seat belt if I had to.
