Other Comments: I was super excited to receive this product. Given the ridiculous amount of time I spend looking at my computer screen for work, I was looking for a way to improve my posture and to keep from looking like the hunchback in a few years time. The product arrived and looked even better than in the pictures. The stand mechanism was very solid, and I felt good about the ergonomic improvement of having my screen propped up closer to eye-level.
Unfortunately, there is something about the vaulted angle that does not agree with the trackpad on my Macbook Air (11"). I immediately noticed that my trackpad was less responsive, and jittery when vaulted. Finally (and perhaps in part due to some frustratedly forceful clicking), my trackpad began behaving erratically even when my macbook was on a flat surface. It was incredibly annoying (and disruptive), and I eventually had to go through the painstaking process of having my trackpad repaired/replaced. I was still very skeptical about the trackpad problems being correlated to use of this product, but am noticing similar unresponsiveness the moment I use the product again. I won't be risking permanent damage again, and will no longer be using this product. The issue may be specific to Macbook Airs, and even Macbook Air 11.' Nevertheless, buyer beware.
It would help future buyers if someone would post about having similar problems.
