Now that I don't use a diaper bag, I don't want to carry that "bulky" camera, and the video camera as well, so I started searching the best alternative for my needs. On line, I found like 150 good reviews about this camera, and they are true! It takes very good pics, I can't tell the difference from the nikon and this one.The videos are OK, and you can use the zoom while recording. It is a good camera for the price, easy to carry and to use! I'm so happy with this product ... I would recommend it! This camera is/can be quite complex if you take the time to experiment. I knew this going in and I have extensive experience with manual SLR's and that is why i chose this camera. If you are looking for a simple point and shoot and do not understand cameras that well this may not be for you but if you do understand and want something you can play with than i think it will fill that bill quite well. The Fuji f70 EXR filled the bill. Put it on EXR, set it to auto and you're done. Just point and shoot and the camera does the rest. It even senses when or if you need a flash. And with Face Detection, it doesn't get any easier. But don't be misled, If you want full control, This camera will allow you to do that. It has a B& W ,Sepia and Photgraphic mode so you can shoot different styles of photo's. I researched for a month on P & S camera's and the Fuji f70 camera may have features others have or it may not. The bottom line is, if you want a fantastic camera with easy operation and unbelievable pictures that are as close to perfect as you can get,the fuji f70 is the camera for you.In addition to easy functionality,the camera is made out of metal versus cheaper plastic camera's. In otherwords, it feels and looks professional and produces professional looking pictures.The only thing that I didn't like was the camera bag that came with the kit,it was barely bigger than the camera itself and will not hold the camera strap,usb cord and extra battery.If you just need to protect your camera then you are fine but absolutely no accessories will fit in this bag.I suggest you get a normal size Camera bag that will hold your accessories.
