Pros: No faults or flaws at this time. Well made. A tad grainy at low low light but liveable with it's limits.
Cons: Wish the zoom was motorized rather than manual.

Pros: Light, small, and useful to keep in my car in case I need a camera unexpectedly. Good zoom range.Not sorry I bought it.
Cons: Viewfinder is not optical - it's electronic, and provides a poor preview of the picture you are going to get (I wouldn't have bought it if I'd actually read the specs more carefully). Can't evaluate the focus through the eyepiece because of this, so you have to "trust" that the autofocus is working the way it is supposed to. The viewscreen on the back is more useful, so it works out OK. Zoom action of the lens is not smooth throughout the range - one region around 100mm seems to "grind", as if it weren't lubricated. Again, not sorry I bought it, but it is a little disappointing from a quality point of view.

Intro to Photography

Pros: New to photography, overall camera size, photographic length, features, great color, vacation photography, beginning photography class, overall basic need of a generalized wanting to taking pictures, back up camera to what you already own.
Cons: slow focus, very misleading on the feature "auto flash." FPS (frames per second) speed, brightness of flash, menu can take a while to learn for some.
Other Comments: First off Buydig was GREAT! Originally I made the mistake of ordering the wrong Fujifilm model, no problem from Buydig at all. I was ready to sent the HS35EXR back to Buydig back to for a refund, I work as a professional photographer, I purchased this camera as a "fun" back up so I didn't have to drag lenses and "gear" with me, so I felt I might have expected to much from a small camera. I am upset that in the "auto" flash position, you still have to raise the flash instead of it automatically popping up when flash is needed, to me that is false advertising on Fuji's behalf. I have lost some photos because of slow focus, bummer, but I have to admit the light wasn't the best, so I will try again. The color of the few photos so far is magnificent ! I elected to keep the camera because Buydig treated me so well, the auto flash thing really bugs me though. Overall it's a nice camera, just remember when a photo situation presents itself as being darker than usual, watch the viewfinder and when it says to raise the flash, pay attention.
