Other Comments: I bought this to replace my RS Pro-95 that quit working. I am very pleased with this scanner so far. I was not impressed with the small rubber antenna. I couldn't get it to receive LAFD 800 mhz that I'm interested in. However, I used the RS 800 mhz antenna off my Pro-95 and the difference was night and day. The reception is better than my old scanner. Having the SD card with the frequency database is great. The first thing I did was update the library and the scanner software. There is a small learning curve to program and use the software but not bad. The software that comes with the scanner is easy to use and allows you to customize your scanlists, alpha tags, delay time, etc. I also purchased a usb power adapter so I could recharge the batteries without connecting to a computer. The manual is pdf but detailed and complete. Only one complaint..to update the SD card, you have to remove the batteries, then the SD card and insert it into a computer with a card reader. It would be much easier (if it was possible) to make updates through the usb cable instead of removing the card every time you want to update.
