The "Hamilton Beach Wave Maker 10 Speed Blender" arrived in it's original packing and over-boxed for shipping with appropriate padding. Just used it to (attempt to) make guacamole. Soft, over-ripe avocados? No go... The blades don't come close enough to the jar and just make an air space to spin themselves in. I scraped and pushed but it just kept cavitating. Annoyance! Solution - the jar from my old blender fit... Dr. Frankenstein strikes again!
If you have an old "Hamilton Beach 10 Speed Model 50200" like mine, this should work for you, too. If not, imho, I hope you like smoothies 'cause that's about all it's good for on it's own.
When I got to the bottom of the box while breaking it down for recycling, I finally found the directions! Wondered where they were.... Turns out, this thing needs 1 cup of liquid to operate properly.
I'm happy with BuyDig; not so happy with FedEx _or_ Hamilton Beach, though. :-(
