Excellent Printer

Pros: Print quality.
Speed.
Energy saving - goes to sleep most of the day.
Cons: It did not work out of the box. We had to call HP tech support. They were great and had us pull a board and unplug and reconnect a few connectors.
Other Comments: Not the best looking printer I've ever seen but who really cares about that when it prints so well?

Known printer from an unknown source (for me)

Pros: We own similar HP printer (only difference is an extra paper tray), and are very happy with this printer. So when it was time to order for another department, we purchased the same. However, this printer was no longer available in any local box stores, so bought online.
Cons: Haven't experienced any problems.
Other Comments: great workhorse! We considered a less expensive model - and they're out there! We've purchased a couple for lesser needs within our company. It's obvious the low quality -- so, you "get what you pay for." We're very happy with this model.

Cons: Long time for startup
Slow to first page print
Difficult to find correct driver
