This unit however, seems to make alot of grunting noises and is slow to accept an outgoing fax. I called HP and they said this was normal but it did not happen with my first unit...and to be honest, I had a great deal of ink cartridges on hand so that was the main reason I purchased the same model! Scanning works fine. Print quality is just above fine. I guess I got my moneys worth. My biggest concern was printing from my laptop to the computer room and it does this fine. haven't sent or received any color fax so I can't speak to that. Doc feeder is nice, so many all in ones with out fax have no doc feeder. Would I buy again? YES. but HP software is a system/drive hog.
