Pros: The sound from Solemate is strong and solid. Solemate can be moved from the sound source to other locations within my house. The receiving range is 30-40 feet depending on the number and type of walls between the source and Solemate location. The Solemate is more than I expected for the selling price. After buying the first one, I purchased a second for use with my laptop at meetings where I need audio for my presentations.

Pros: Extremely easy set up, great to have the cord stashed in the base, decent battery life. Good low end bass response, awesome value for the price
Cons: The sound is amazing given the size of this device, especially the bass, but don't except anything close to audiophile sound. I used it as a speakerphone but people complained about hearing my voice clearly unless I practically spoke right into it.
Other Comments: Would be awesome if the next gen had a clever place or way to stash the USB cord!
