Pros: Powerful Motor, Quiet
Cons: Only half capacity, Interlock makes useless
Other Comments: First I want to say that BuyDig did a GREAT job and I HIGHLY recommend doing business with them. While this review is very critical, it is critical of the product only and NOT BuyDig. They are great. The center post only goes halfway up, effectively reducing the capacity to half of what is advertised. If you fill the large bowl more than halfway with liquid, it flows out all over the motor and all over the counter. The lid overlaps the outside of the bowl, rather than sliding inside it, therefore liquids roll out and down the side of the bowl, all over the motor and all over the counter. The large feed tube interlock doesn't engage until the pushbar is halfway in, making the large feed tube useless. Additionally, the motor won't run when the pushbar is out. I like tossing in veggies while the motor runs, then pushing them in with the pushbar. The safety interlock on the pushbar is made of plastic ridges that slide into grooves on the large feed tube. They fit so tightly though, that it is very difficult to slide the pushbar in and out. This food processor is so lawyered up as to render it maddeningly useless. If I want to jam my fingers into the spinning blades, I should darned well be able to. I HATE it when lawyers get involved in product design, because they always screw it up and make the product worse.I considered defeating the interlocks so that the food processor is useful, but I would have had to grind off the rails on the pushbar so that it moves freely, which would have voided the warranty, and I just paid [$] on the darn thing, so I just sent it back.
