As of now I am very happy with it because you set the length of time to toast digitally and there is no dial to slip backwards or forwards, as did my old toaster. Thus you get the same results each time you toast until you re-set the time, without having to fuss with a dial. I also like the LCD display which counts down the time, so you know how much toasting time is left -- thus if, for example, you're scrambling eggs, you can finish up the eggs at about the same time, and serve both while hot. The toaster toasts very evenly across the bread, and that is a pleasure compared to my old toaster which always had dark and light spots on the same slice.
