4 out of 5 stars   Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga

Review submitted for Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 12.5-Inch Convertible 2 in1 Touchscreen Ultrabook - Core i7-4600U (LNYOGOS120CD00B1US)
Pros: Very versatile. Runs Windows (fast), has a quality keyboard, can be used in tablet mode, has a stylus and software tor writing on the screen and has touch screen. Overall a well built machine. Battery lasts 5- 6 hours.
Cons: The only con is that it is still a little heavier than I would like. I was thinking of a Mac Air, but I have always used Windows machines, and the Mac can't do much of what this can.
Other Comments: Overall, a pricey but very high quality choice. Especially if you go for the i7, 256K SSD Drive, and stylus.

5 out of 5 stars   Excellent all-in-one ultrabook

Review submitted for Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 12.5-Inch Convertible 2 in1 Touchscreen Ultrabook - Core i7-4600U (LNYOGOS120CD00B1US)
Pros: I"ve been looking at a number of ultrabooks and convertibles for the past 6 months. I finally decided to go with the thinkpad yoga. While a bit heavier then a number of counterparts (ASUS infinity, yoga 2, ATIV etc), this convertible remains very portable and seems to have a good build quality. Battery life is fine at 6+ hours and the 1080p screen is very clear. Easy reading and great contrast/brightness. The thinkpad keyboard and active digitizer really differentiate this model from the rest. If you are in school or read scholarly articles, importing PDFs into OneNote for direct highlighting/annotating is a breeze. It has really helped organize my academic life and I've been extremely happy with the purchase.
Cons: No clear cons at this time. It seems this LCD panel (made by LG and also in previous Macbook pros and XPS12) develops ghosting issues over time. I have yet to experience any issues and reading up on Lenovo forums suggests a replacement screen is nearing production. I suspect any ghosting issues will arise within the first year and replacement under warranty could also be used if significant ghosting develops.
