MHBEATSPIOE Beats by Dr. Dre Studio High Definition Headphones(127801)

Pros:
Cons:
Other Comments: The order arrived in a short time, packaged in a museum quality box. I tried the headphones on right away and they were very comfortable. Then I tried to install the batteries! It was a nightmare! Took five minutes of pushing, twisting and prying before the compartment finally opened. Closing it was another struggle. Was never able to completely close it, but at least the batteries did not fall out.
At my health club, using the connection available on the equipments, I finally got a decent sound and the headset reduced the background noise. However, after ten minutes of exercise, the earcups were soaked with perspiration since they cover the ears hermetically. Never use this headphone while exercising! Nor use it for more than half hour without wiping it clean from condensation.
Using it on my iPod, it functioned well, bringing out the deep bass with clarity.
The headset also lacks a volume control. There are times when you use it on the computer, you fail to notice which software controls the volume, resulting your ears being blasted to hell. At the healthclub the lowest volume settings on the available equipment is much to loud for listening, which also makes the use of this headset Impossible.
Overall, this product did not live up to what it was advertised!

MHBEATSPIOE Beats by Dr. Dre Studio High Definition Headphones(127801)
(MCMHBEATSPIO)
Pros: Lightweight, Beautiful Package
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Poor Sound Quality, No volume control
Other Comments: I originally planned to buy the Bose noise canceling headphones, but reading several reviews that were not positive and recommended the less expensive Dr. Dre Monster Beats headphones, I purchases one from Buydig.com. It was not cheap either! Saved about $50.

Took five minutes of pushing, twisting and prying before the compartment finally opened. Closing it was another struggle. Was never able to completely close it, but at least the batteries did not fall out.
Next I connected it to my iPad 3. The sound coming from the iPad speakers was noticeably better then the sound coming through the headphones! The same was true with my computers. The computer's built in speakers were much better than the headset. Big disappointment.
