Please note that this product does not include the security software (none of the two units I received has it) I went to the Memorex web site and downloaded the software. The version I downloaded is "MemorexLOCK_v231.exe" and it works fine with this product

Other Comments: The device is of ample size and can serve many uses. If you have not already created an emergency startup HD for your laptop, this size is ideally suited for that purpose; and there would still be enough space for data and a suite of utility apps. Keep in mind though: this is USB 2.0., so the best speed you're going to get out of it is something well under 480 Mb/s. For me though, it works best as a temp storage vehicle for large directory archives while working away from the office.
