Other Comments: Nice radio for the money if you need to stay in contact within maybe 2 miles in a densely populated area. The 26 mile range stated "May" only be achieved over water or on land with limited obstructions, Another words, "Line Of Sight Communications" I have also used a regular FRS (1/2 Watt) radio to stay in touch with others on a large cruice ship from one end to the other and from the bottom deck to the top deck with no problem. All in all, Midland is a good company that's been around for years and for general everyday use, (Not Emergency)these are good to have around.
