It's spare power for my cell phone, GPS, Nintendo DS, PSP, external hard drive. We already had one but my son and I would fight over it so we bought two more. We also bought a Dexim DCA121 Ipod battery charger that plugs in the dock of the Ipod but it is very limited as it only works for the Ipod whereas this works for anything with a USB port which is very handy.
