Pros: I have a Nikon 1 V1 camera. In addition to the 10-30 mm Zoom that came with the camera I have also acquired the 18.5 mm fixed, and the 10-100 mm power zoom. The 10-100 mm power Zoom is a great lens for doing video with a tripod but it's very heavy and not something you want to carry around all day at Disney. I have had this 30-110 mm zoom lens for several days now and it is an excellent lens for taking pictures of people. With this lens I can zoom in on my subject and get them in sharp focus while the back ground is soft. The lens comes with a matching Khaki lens shade. This Khaki lens is designed to match the Khaki Nikon 1 but it looks great on my black V1. It would also look good on a white Nikon 1. The lens is sold as a refurbished lens but I'm quite sure this is a brand new lens. I suspect these Khaki lenses were not selling so rather than cut the price on a "new" lens they market it as refurbished with no fancy box and a 90 day warranty instead of the standard 5 year warranty.
Cons: The Khaki lens barrel color does not look good with models like the red Nikon 1. Lens is a bit slow when fully extended (f/5.6) so best used outdoors, with flash, or with strong indoor lighting.
Other Comments: This lens is my new favorite for taking pictures of people and distant subjects. At this special low price for the Khaki model I'd grab one while they are still available.

Pros: So far the lens appear to operate just fine. It looks like it is a brand new lens. I doubt that I would be able to tell the difference if it was placed right next to a brand new lens.

Other Comments: I don't see how a buyer could go wrong buying this lens. The savings over a new lens are too great to pass this up. And the paper that was inside the lens said it was refurbished by Nikon.

Pros: Great lens, you can take some clear crisp pictures at distance. Recommended if your getting into the Nikon J series cameras, nice lens at a GREAT price to add to your collection. Like new, refurbished was never an issue, was a factory Nikon refurb, you can't go wrong! Half the price! Buy one!
Cons: The only con would be if you didn't purchase one before the sell out!
Other Comments: Like the website, recommend, will likely purchase from them again in the future. Smooth fast easy transaction and delivery.
