Other Comments: This is an excellent solution for taking the D5100 camera on outings or excursions when you know you will only need the 18-55mm standard lens. It is a great alternative to lugging around the larger camera bag which contains your other lenses, charger, etc. This case is lightweight yet provides adequate protection. And being made by Nikon for a Nikon product it fits very well.

Other Comments: We vacationed in Niagara Falls and it did a great job in protecting the camera from bumps as well as mist/rain. Would have liked a separate strap/belt clip to move it off the camera's neckstrap when taking a lot of pictures.

If using a 75-200mm lens, the fit is a bit snug. The case fits around the camera's strap so camera hangs comfortably and snaps in place so you won't lose it. Money well spent.
