Pros: Based on the spec, it looks pretty decent. Based on the price < US$90, it looks like a great bargain. It's a very compact pocket sized camera. Few noticeable physical blemishes.
Cons: This refurbished Nikon could not focus even outdoor at 9:00 am when it was bright/sunny. It was a waste of my 30-40 min. testing the camera.. "HATE" is a strong word - that's why TWO STARs.
Other Comments: Normally, I do not write reviews. Just to be fair to BuyDig, I was given a SmartPost return label (it took 16 days - 13 days under USPS and 3 days under FedEx). Return was received by BuyDig at 1:46 pm and a credit was issued at 3:03 pm on 09/14 - the SAME DAY. THANK YOU FOLKS at BuyDig. Personally, I would never buy another Nikon refurbished product because factory defects cannot be fixed by those so-called MFG authorized repair shops!!!

Pros: Thought I would take a chance on a refurbished camera due to the great price. That was a mistake. It didn't operate properly from the first time I tried to use it. I keep getting error codes every time I turn it on. I will be trying to exchange or return it, hopefully that is not a complete disaster.
Cons: Keep getting "Dial is in improper position" error every time I turn on the camera.

Pros: I really enjoy the compact size of this camera and the large zoom capability. When compared to my Sony compact camera, this one does not do as well with nighttime photos. It is a really good camera for daytime when the subjects are well lit and there is no need for flash. At night, the flash is very powerful and causes way too much whitening and shiny skin on photo subjects. Other than that, it is very fast to boot up and capture pictures.

Cons: I have recently purchased this refurbished model. Unfortunately I have received a defective product - the Wi-Fi mode doesn't work and the battery shows low after taking 5 pictures. The refurbished description states that the product has been reconditioned to a factory "new" state, this can't be far from the truth. If you read the fine print, Nikon will accept returns for repairs within 90 days but the BUYER has to pay all shipping costs. This is really ridiculous, when a product arrives defective from day 1. Stay away and purchase on Amazon.

Pros: Speedy shipping. (Ordered Friday, arrived by Monday!) Packaged nicely. Looked brand new, no scratches or dents. Very easy to use, and small to fit in your pocket. Saved a heap on a refurbished one vs brand new. Definitely have already recommended beach camera to friends and family. My brother has purchased one and my sister has purchased 2 cameras from Beach Camera. NO complaints from us.
Cons: I didn't expect a manual, nor a memory card to be included. Easy enough to find on line, and had ordered extra batteries w/ memory card also. I understand w/ a refurb., battery life doesn't last as long, have no complaints as of yet.
