5 out of 5 stars   Best little Nikon accessory I ever had.
By Nelson on March 08, 2015
Review submitted for Nikon ML-L3 Wireless Remote Control (Infrared) (NKMLL3)
Pros: I have owned two Nikon cameras in the last 8 years, a D40 and a D3200. I have taken family pictures with my three Rottweilers using the timer and always with great difficulty. Then I decided to get this remote and it changed everything. Now I don't know how I lived without one. My first concern was it had to be accurately aimed at the camera to work, and this immediately proved to be not the case. It works by simply pressing the button while holding the remote in the general direction of the camera. And while not a feature of the remote, the camera has two settings in which to use it, instant and 2-second delay. The 2-second delay allows you to move your hand holding the remote out of the picture before the shutter trips.
Cons: Nothing negative.
Other Comments: There is no on/off switch on the remote so once the battery is activated by removing the plastic strip the remote may or may not continue to drain the battery. I don't know how long the battery will last as I've only had the remote for a week or so.

Pros: Nifty! Works great. I especially liked using the 2 sec delay that permits me to be in a picture that doesn't show me pointing this remote. :o) Great price!

Review submitted for Nikon ML-L3 Wireless Remote Control (Infrared) (NKMLL3)
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Reliable, Easy To Use
Cons: None of the above
Other Comments: THIS ITEM IS FANTASTIC. IT BEATS THE HECK OUT OF THE OLD RELEASE CABLES. IT IS GREAT FOR GETTING THAT UNPOSED PIC OF YOUR FAVORITE SUBJECT BECAUSE IT IS SMALL AND COMPACT, GREAT FOR CONCEALMENT TO GET THAT SPECIAL SHOT. EVEN IF THE CAMERA IS EQUIPED WITH AN ANTI MOVEMENT OR VIBRATION OPTION THIS ITEM IS JUST AN ADDED PLUS.
