Pros: Perfect match for Nikon D610 n other nikon cameras I switched from Nikon SB 910 to sb700 as i wanted to reduce weight and my search ended with sb 700 having same features and more ease of use than going in to flash menu and than set a desired function. I usually shoot weddings and get 800-1000 flashes without changing set of 4 AA sanyo eneloop batteries.My Usual setting TTL BL perfect exposure n firing instantly,never missed a shot.

Pros: So far, I'm enjoying my SB-700 speedlight. I'm an amateur photographer so I'm just beginning to learn the ins and outs of the flash. It does provide sufficient light in the darker areas with plenty of light.
Cons: I've already changed my batteries once so it does go through batteries.

Other Comments: Useful with nikon for i-TTL, which compensates well for light conditions. The added red LED allows for fast and accurate autofocusing in lowlight conditions. Comes with whitebalance filters, and even though it is rated weaker compared to comparable flashguns, I never notice a problem unless theres no wall to bounce the flash off, such as out doors at night. Even then, pointing the flash at the subject (normally a person), illuminates the subject well.
