(at full power) However, with the SD-8A attached, it solves that problem. The other minor complaint is the sub flash is not attached to TTL in any way. Therefore, even at 1/8 power setting, it overexposes if you are too close to the subject. If it went below a 1/8 setting, that would solve that problem. All in all, I don't see much difference from my SB-900,....except it"s cheaper. Power is about the same,...or so close it's a moot point. It does suck up batteries, but so does the SB-900.
