It has plenty of memory (2GB internal) and a slot for a mini SD card for increased memory space. It is difficult to "accidently" erase files as it ask you twice. I totally enjoy the rechargeable lithium batteries, I just plug it in or connect to my computer for charging but a full charge is good for 51 hours of recording/playback time!
