I also like the macro settings for flower closeups and for clarity and color it works very well. It would be nice to have a larger zoom but this is a small camera and it can only do so much. But what it does do, it does it well. I have a carry bag that I attach to my purse so it's always with me! If there is one complaint it's the short battery life. At the Falls we did indeed get very wet as did the camera, it performad as advertised with no problems. While other tourists were trying to cover their cameras I was snapping away. Make sure you clear the water drops off the lens, while it is waterproof, it isn't magic and those will show up in your pics. I am sure if completely underwater this is a non issue. I can't imagine the trip without it... constantly being on the beach or by the pool, the majority of my photos were taken in or around water. The quality was great and there are tons of settings. I LOVE that you can search help topics on the actual camera instead of having to refer to a manual. There's really nothing bad that I can say about this camera except that it was a little larger than I was hoping for.
