Pros: Easy-to-use. Moderate cost. High-quality pictures, inside or out, above or below water.
Cons: Sinks fast -- need floating wrist band at extra cost. Good to have spare battery and charger.

Pros: I had a 7 year old water proof Olympus that quit working. This camera is as easy to use and has better features and sharper pictures

Pros: Quick focusing Sharp images Long battery life
Cons: Has some exposure and white balance issues LCD screen scratches easily
Other Comments: This is a very good camera with quick focusing and a good shot to shot speed. I normally get 500 or more shots on one battery charge unless I'm using the flash regularly. That being said it does have some flaws. The main issue is sometimes it has trouble getting the exposure just right in dynamic situations. Also it has some trouble with white balance on a cloudy day. Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a tough camera.

Pros: Easy to operate, lots of features, great photo quality, quick shutter, lots of customization, great face recognition, great wide angle lens
Cons: Absolutely useless flip screen, chunky design, outdated bundled software, HORRIBLE VIDEO
Other Comments: This camera has a huge flaw in its video recording option. There is an internal clicking noise to do with the camera processor that is extremely loud on each and every video. I called Olympus to check on the issue, thinking it was a real problem, and they admitted it is supposed to to it. It can clearly be heard when using the camera so I am alarmed they allowed it for the final design. Since I want this for underwater video (where audio is amplified) and general video taking, I couldn't accept their poor design choice. I returned my camera and bought the TG 820 instead. The 820 model does not have the issue. Thank goodness!
