Infrared Quartz Radiant Heater
(OPMSH5511)
Pros: It heats people, not the whole room.
No exposed heating elements
Low energy requirement (400W, 800W) prevents overloading circuits.
Cons: The control is impossible to read unless you face it just right. I used a marking pen to show the settings.
Other Comments:
Yes, I recommend this product

Infrared Quartz Radiant Heater
(OPMSH5511)
Pros: A Chihuahua's best friend. Feels like heat from a fireplace. I once used three of these to heat a small apartment in the Detroit area. It cost less than the inefficient electric heat they had there, and I was never cold. When I moved, I gave one to my daughter, and eventually the other two stopped working. I didn't realize there is a part that can be replaced, and threw them away. I rejected all other heaters for my small dog, and went out of my way to find one of these online....which isn't easy to do.
Cons: Not as easily available for purchase as they once were. People need to use these as if they were an actual live fire and not put them very close to burnable objects....but they don't use common sense, so the rest of us pay the price and good products like this go away.
Other Comments: They don't make this type of heat delivery available in a simulated fireplace style. I haven't been able to find a simulated fireplace with infrared radiant heat. Wish this company would create one....with heat low enough so my small dog could feel the warmth.
Yes, I recommend this product
