This was an upgrade from my prior Pentax which I was very happy with but lagged in some areas - low light, no video, image quality not as good as newer cameras, etc. I'm *very* happy with the upgrade. This camera excels in low light conditions when you can't use or don't want a flash. All my old lenses and flashes work with this newer model. Great for those family "action photos" with a super shutter speed. Having a video option rapidly became a "must have" feature that I don't know what I would do without. And the video is actually pretty good. I was able to use my 200mm zoom at an indoor sporting event and still get some decent video capture that my sony HD video camera never would have pulled off. The video interface is kind of goofy but switching back and forth between camera and video is just a turn of the dial and couldn't easier/faster. We have the red one ... and it's really red. Only thins Customer Service Buydig.com was really bad that rather me to return merchandice. I have bought frombuydig.com before and recomeded to all my friend and in Facebook... Only called to see how can I could get 200mm or 300mm lense or if could be in a bundle and I guess representative was no in the mood to work, since never ask for my acct or any thing.
