horrible rebate process

Great USB 3.0 Flash Drive

Pros: Small, Compact design.
Sliding cover mostly protects the connector.
Rugged with a very good maximum storage/operating temperature rating.
Speedy performance.
Rubberized case lets you keep a good grip on the drive.
Cons: Nothing major, to date.
I only wish the sliding cover "completely" covered the connector. The design does allow the end connector opening to be exposed. But no problems with over the years with others that have a similar design.
Other Comments: I have bought several Patriot Flash Drives over the years and all have performed flawlessly. Maybe not the ultimate in write speeds, but I use them as my "go-to" brand when purchasing new ones and have never been disappointed. Very Good, reliable products.

Better than expected write speed

Pros: large capacity, relatively small package, super cheap (was on sale for $62 but w/ $15 MIR the total cost was $47 ... for 128GB!! yee-haa! ;-)
Cons:
Other Comments: Just copied 110GB of files (~3300 files; 3000 files < 10MB in size; the rest ranged in size up to 20GB) and the average write speed was ~70MB/sec ... much better than the advertised 50MB/sec (and since most drives rarely hit their advertised write rates this was a nice surprise).

Other Comments: This usb drive has basically replaced most of my other small (and cheap) ones. It's lightning fast on a USB 3.0 port and feels pretty sturdy despite being made out of plastic. Of course being a flash drive it's a limited number of writes but I'm still running a persistent Linux system on it as well as using it for general storage and I've been happy so far!
