Other Comments: This is my second Rokinon prime next to the 35mm and it is performing extremely well. If you have a crop sensor DSLR, this is a must have if you need more width for your shots. The glass is sharp, the build quality feels military grade, the focus ring is smooth, and the aperture ring is dead on.
If you don't have any qualms about shooting fully manual, this is about as good as most Canon prime lenses. So far, I haven't noticed any sort of blemishes while shooting on my Canon - the shots are crystal clear.
Bottom Line: If you want really clean glass for videography or photography, this is the best kept secret in the DSLR world (in my opinion), and a perfect transitional prime if you are seeking Zeiss glass in the future when budget allows.
