Cons: Cust serv from maker, Sparks, Noise
Other Comments: i was warned this was a loud machine, but it screamed. ice cream was delicious the first 3 times. on the 4th try, the motor shot flames and locked up. still under warranty, but very difficult to get help from the manufacturer. decided to cut my losses and purchase a second from a local hardware store. tried the motor before checking out, and it was shooting flames in the store. a lot of money wasted.

Other Comments: Instruction manuel easy to follow. You are able to fill container more than 1/2 full but no more than 3/4. All parts are easy to assemble. Only disapointment, no cork included to plug the lid so container could be placed in freezer. I cut a wine cork to place in lid.

Other Comments: This is the fastest, "bestest" home made ice cream ever - and my family has been make HMI for three generations. Yes, it's noisy, so we moved it to the end of the patio, but it's quick and it was certainly worth the noise for this ice cream. We followed the recipe included with the maker.
