Other Comments: The year is 2012. How is it possible for Samsung to sell a camera that quickly drains the battery while in th OFF mode. From fully charged to totally depleted in 48 hours without a picture taken nor even being placed in the ON mode. I called Samsung and both the technician and the supervisor suggested I remove the battery until just before planned use. Wow, for a fairly expensive camera, I am instructed to seperately carry a camera and battery and only insert before planned use. The camera has features but not nearly enough to account for the battery fiasco.

Other Comments: Loved this camera from day one. I have had numerous cameras but this one works great for me. The zoom is really clear and by setting the manual controls for different lighting etc. makes it even better. Backlight in scene mode is a really good feature. I am finding more and more features as I play with the controls. I highly recommend this camera. If you are not comfortable with the manual controls, just use the smart auto and you will not go wrong. SMALL ENOUGH TO FIT INTO YOUR JEANS SIDE POCKET! ALSO PURCHASED THE HOOD FOR THE LCD. GOOD INVESTMENT FOR OUTDOOR SUNNY PICTURES.
