Extremely sturdy, stylish, and the square holes in the back make it super easy to route cables and wires. The design also hides all of the wires real well so it's aesthetically pleasing. Downsides are the glass is extremely dust prone- moved into a brand new 2013 house that was vacuumed a day before move in. But, thing absorbed dust like a magnet. Also, the glass seems oddly cut in comparison to the steel frame. It is designed like this though so that's subjective. This distance between the 2 shelves is small, but I knew about that before ordering, and the one component (front center speaker) that I wanted to put on the second shelf does fit by sliding it in from the side of the unit. I was very concerned when I saw it. That being said, the unit had just a couple of minor scratches, the biggest one is hidden by the glass. Manufacturer really needs to improve packaging for shipment especially on the edges which have very little protection. Heavy duty cardboard is need. I am sure in the long run would SAVE them money!
