It is nearly impossible to locate a heating pad without that pesky auto shutoff. I have tried every drugstore and big box store in our area and cannot locate a heating pad without the auto shutoff feature. My feet are cold and I need some heat on them. I use the heating pad cover and wear socks to ensure against burns. I also use it to warm up the bed a little when it isn't cold enough outside to turn on the furnace. Buy with confidence.
