Verified Purchase Review submitted for Seagate GoFlex 1 TB Ultra-Portable USB 3.0 External Hard Drive (SESTAA1000102) Pros: Works Great, Easy setup, Mac and PC compatible Cons: No option on connections Other Comments: I have started editing video and I ran out of space on the built-in hard-drive on my MacBook Pro, so I bought the Seagate EasyFlex to help me store the video and to edit from. I plugged it in and it gave me an option to use it both on a Mac and a PC, so I selected that. I apparently can only write to it from MY Mac, but other Macs can read it and all PCs apparently can write to it. A nice feature in my multi-OS environment. The only thing I've been disappointed in is the fact that it came with a USB 3.0 connector and didn't give me a choice to get a FireWire 800 connector. I don't have a computer with USB 3, but my MacBook Pro has a FW800. The USB 3 is backward compatible with the USB 2 ports on my computer, but the additional speed on FW800 would have been nice. It wouldn't have cost Seagate anything to offer the option, but now they want me to pay $35 for a FW800 connector. Yes, I recommend this product Was this review helpful?     |     Report this review
