Back focus issues

Pros: Strong Construction, Nice Bokeh
Cons: Blurry Focus, Back focus issues
Other Comments: First off, this lens looks amazing when I could get it to focus. Excellent colors, contrast and bokeh. However, with my copy I had the dreaded back-focus issue often mentioned about this lens. Typically at <3 feet there was no issue regardless of aperture, however at distances of greater than 10 feet, it consistently back focus. Eventually maxing out the focus adjust on my D7000 to -20 got me close at 10ft distances but I couldn't live with that. I'm exchanging my lens for a new copy versus sending to sigma for calibration because it is reasonable to expect a already calibrated lens when purchasing new.
When it did focus, pictures looked fantastic.
