Verified Purchase Review submitted for Sigma 85mm F1.4 EX DG HSM Lens for Canon EOS (SG85F14EOS) Pros: Sharp, Not heavy, Nice brokeh Cons: Focus a little off, Color fringing Other Comments: This is a great lens for the money. Focusing is fast enough and produced really good background blur. So this is ideal for portraits. However, I had to do some micro-adjustment in my 5D markII to get it focus sharp on the focus point. This may or may not be necessary depending on the photogrpahy style. But for a portrait photographer using the camera wide open focus accuracy is important. The lens also has some fringing when wide open. But for the price, this is a very good value. This could become my primary lens for portraits.
