Verified Purchase Review submitted for Sigma 85mm F1.4 EX DG HSM Lens for Nikon AF (SG85F14NA) Pros: Easily Interchangeable, Consistent Output, Durable, Strong Construction, Rugged Cons: Slow Focus Other Comments: I bought the lens primarily for stage productions and concerts where lighting is poor. It's fine if the distances are perfect, but I usually can't change my position to improve framing. Sometimes I prefer to change to a slower zoom lens and boost the ISO into the stratosphere where I have to put up with more noise in my images. Focus is slow in low light, so it's not practical for me to use shooting action. I plan to try using manual focus next time to see if that helps. I was concerned about focus, however, this lens focuses rapidly and precisely on D700. Great lens for portraiture, with narrow depth of field. Useful in low-light situations.
