Other Comments: If you are looking for a camera that does it all without lugging around a huge DSLR.. this is it! Now I am not saying that the quality of the photos is exactly a match for the DSLR... but it does a great job for on the go active situations. I bought this camera for a cruise to the Bahamas and I didn't want to lug around my underwater case and DSLR. This camera was great! As it turned out, there was a hurricane while we were there, so the waterproof features were a plus! I didn't have to worry about getting it wet, banging it around, or anything. The pictures turned out great too!I was a little hesitant on buying this camera becasue it is new to the market and I had read complaints about battery life and not being waterproof. I had no problems and was so glad that I paid the [$] for the camera! I was in the Bahamas for 4 days and only had to recharge once. I just charged it overnight! It was great. I took a lot of pictures too!Some of the cons that I noticed, but not deal breakers as far as I am concerned, were as follows:- I have had a sony touch screen camera before and I hated it. The touch was sometimes not responsive and the screen scratched very easily. This time I bought the screen protectors and they have worked great. Sony must have worked on the touch screen too, because I had no problems! Actually, the only problem I did have was if I didn't turn the camera off sometimes my wrist would hit it to the playback mode... no biggy. I love that you have the option to get rid of all of the screen information, leaving you a large screen to view your picts.- the panoramic mode was cumbersome to get to. sometimes I would forget that i was in panoramic mode and would miss a shot because of the menus to get back to shooting mode.- sometimes the pictures would be blurry in lowlight situations and would have problems getting the flash tocome on. However, I think that this might be user error... :) It was also at the end of the battery life.. so that might have something to do with it! On a positive note - i love the new intelligent auto shot feature. It worked very well and I rarely had to adjust settings to take great pictures! The panoramic feature was great too! I found myslef using it a lot!All in all, if you are looking for a small, durable camera that is going to take great pictures... BUT IT!

Other Comments: I always use a small tripod to add stability as the camera is so light it is dificult to hold steady. I use the tripod legs folded up as a handle to give me more to hang on to. Image stabilizer works very well.
I am having a lot of fun with this camera.
