Other Comments: I purchased this camcorder to record a musical in which my daughter was performing. The key requirements were good performance in low light conditions, solid zooming capability becasue I was recording from the balcony, a high quality image so the recording was pleasing to watch on my HDTV and long battery life. The camera exceeded my expectations in all of these areas. One other thing to note is the audio recording was very good as well.
