Cons: Surround Sound on limited, Difficult To Set Up, Confusing / Bad Remote Control
Other Comments: Surround sound may be good for Movies and BluRay discs but major TV stations don't broadcast in that mode. While thats not the products fault; keep in mind that the local TV sound output is limited to the front speakers. An adjustment to overcome this ,to me, is confusing. IT TOOK 3-4 PHONE CALLS TO TECH SUPPORT TO SET IT UP WITH LIMITED SURROUND SOUND.
I read the manual many times. To me there are just too many adjustments to make to set the proper sound. They include limited recommended settings. The front panel is confusing compared to the Pioneer receiver i replaced with surround sound. I purchased this receiver based on user reviews and thinking it would be easy to synch with my Sony Bravia TV and BluRay player-not so. The TV is beautiful!
