Other Comments: This is the first laptop that I have owned and so far am very pleased with the purchase. I am still learning features of the unit as I muddle my way through the users instructions, and so far nothing but pleasant surprises. While the battery life is short compared to other laptops, it is more than adequate for my needs. As my experience is limited I may be easily impressed but from the lighted keyboard to the dvd blue-ray player the Toshiba Satellite M640 is a solid laptop that I would recomend to anyone.

Pros: USB 30, Comfortable Keyboard
Cons: Toshiba bloatware
Other Comments: Great computer for my wife. She wanted it to be mobile, easy for traveling. The "hotkeys"(for lack of a better description) along the top of the k/b are not what i hoped they would be, but i'm glad they are there. I dont understand why a mfr who markets their machines for multimedia use like music/movies/games would NOT include something like those. I love my Asus G73, but the Fn key is so far from F11 & F12, it takes 2 hands to adjust the volume, which is stupid. Charging my devices while closed is nice.
