Other Comments: This computer would probably get stars except for the nearly unusable touchpad. It is big and heavy, but that is to be expected from an 18.4" screen. It's fast and everything works the way it should.
Except the quirky touchpad. This must be a Toshiba trademark, because the one I have at work is almost as bad. I thought I would get used to it, but the sensitivity is poor, even turned up all the way and the double tap is sporadic at best. I have gone to using an old plug in mouse until I find the dongle to my Logitech wireless mouse. That's what I have at work or I would not be able to use the Toshiba there due to the touchpad.
The "multi-touch" feature is useless with the sensitivity being so poor, so don't buy it for that.
I went back to the old HP for a bit to move some data and the touchpad on it is wonderful in comparison.
If you can use it as a desktop replacement with a mouse, it's a good computer, but if you have to use the touchpad, it will be a frustrating experience.
