  Great laptop - questionable quality By Flessan on February 26, 2014 Review submitted for Toshiba Qosmio 17.3" X75-A7295 Notebook PC - Intel Core i7-4700MQ Processor (TBX75A7295) Pros: FAST! It does everything I need it to do. The screen has no bad pixels. I play Everquest. My desktop PC Core I-5 with high end graphics card lags a bit in crowded locations. This laptop does NOT lag at all! The keys light up making it easy to use in the dark. Great for finding that not-so-often used key. Cons: First two had issues and had to be RMA'd. Not BuyDig's fault - Toshiba's fault. First one the screen shut off if opened beyond 45 degrees. Second one had a broken key. Battery life appears to be about 2 hours IF you don't play games. Chances are if you are buying this laptop, you aren't using it without being plugged in anyway. The function keys (F1 through F12) are set as if you are pressing the FN key. If you are like me, and hit F5 to refresh web pages, you will instead turn on and off the touch pad without refreshing the web page. Luckily a google search revealed a way to set the function keys back to "normal" operation. Bloatware! - But this is a con for just about any name-brand laptop. Popups from Norton to renew my virus protection now just guaranties I will never give them a dime. Other Comments: There is pretty significant "bleeding" of light around the edges of the screen. This is only noticeable when what you're viewing is dark. It's not much worse than cheap Acer 22" monitors are, so I'm used to it already :). Just wanted to mention it in case that's important to you. I realize I listed more cons than pros, but that's because I'm picky. This really is a great laptop. Make absolutely sure you will never need to use Toshiba tech support. BuyDig was great, Toshiba was the worst I ever dealt with. Ever. Hands down. Period.   Qosmio X75 February 23, 2014 Review submitted for Toshiba Qosmio 17.3" X75-A7295 Notebook PC - Intel Core i7-4700MQ Processor (TBX75A7295) Pros: Plenty of horsepower to serve as a desktop replacement. Blazing speed and super graphics. I appreciate the fact that it has a very solid build and is not over the top with the aggressive gamer styling that the competition is offering. Clean looks and manageable size for solid workhorse, even if not used for gaming. I think doing significant research before buying resulted in a good choice. Cons: Audio out seems geared solely for headphones and not driving a pair of speaks. Other Comments: Why must they make the stupid product add stickers to hard to remove.
