Other Comments: The lock performs as advertised and is small enough to take with you easily. I love the fact that the cable retracts, though so quickly it easily strikes other items around it violently if not careful. The locking device that attaches to your iPod, fits very nicely and the connection is solid and secure. The shiny black part that houses the cable and lock functioning as the "loop" to secure the cable to larger stationary items does not seem durable. It's a lightweight plastic and there is no metal reinforcements to offer greater strength. For the price, I'm thrilled with the item. I listen to my iPods at work and they are in public view when plugged in to the stores sound system, so I've began locking them so I don't have to worry about theft. But I have to unlock it should it need charged. My two cents: Buy TWO, you'll be glad.
